Bachelor of Laws (LLB)

LLB stands for Bachelor of Laws in full, and it is abbreviated in Latin as Legum Baccalaureus. In Latin, the first letter—in this case, the L—is usually doubled to reduce a plural. The LLB is a three-year degree program dealing with legal subjects. The five-year course in BA LLB is a legal degree. And BA LLB is equal to Bachelor of Arts ‘plus’ Bachelor of Laws. An LLB and BA are two degrees. Generally, the five-year BA LLB course is preferred by students.
